It was right on time. |
![]() The Sunrail was awesome. It was a very relaxing way to get to Disney. | ![]() We took the Sunrail southbound from Lake Mary and connected with Lynx route 50 to the Disney Ticket and Transportation Center. It was a breeze. The bus was right there before our eyes as soon as we got off the the train. How lucky! | ![]() The boys were not as unenthused as they look. They were pulling their "Mom is taking another picture" faces. |

![]() Christmas Day is a great day to go to Walt Disney World resort to see all of the Christmas decorations in the various resorts hotels. This gingerbread cookie display of the movie "Frozen" is larger than life size and made entirely of cookie dough! | ![]() One thing that I have always loved about all of the Disney Parks is their attention to detail. As a tile worker, myself, I can appreciate that great expense and detail they go to make their mosaics. This several story high mosaic at the WDW Contemporary Hotel is one of my most favorites. | ![]() Growing up, I'm always heard about this world famous speedway, but I just didn't know how huge the facility was until I saw it on my drive to Daytona Beach, "The World's Most Famous Beach." |
![]() Wouldn't feel welcome with a colorful greeting like this? | ![]() | ![]() |
![]() The beaches in Volusia County are comprised of sand that compacts very hard. Beach access by car has been a long standing tradition in Daytona Beach. | ![]() Did you ever play with oobleck? Oobleck is made of cornstarch and water. It is hard as long as you are kneading it stays hard, but let it rest and it runs through your fingers like water. Daytona Beach sand is just like oobleck. | ![]() If you look closely you will see an owl on the branch of this large live oak tree. I had to stare at it a moment to determine that it's fake. |
![]() I was surprised to learn when I moved to Central Florida that people can grown pointsettias outside in their yards! Now if that doesn't bring in the Christmas Spirit, what does? | ![]() A flock of pelicans at Ponce Inlet Beach | ![]() These pelicans got pretty close to the boys! |
