Relocated Latter-day Saint Family To Central Florida

During Christmas week of 2015, we packed up our Christmas decorations and left our Iowa home for Central Florida for a job relocation.

Leaving our friends and family in Iowa was very hard, but with cameras in hand, we chose to look at all that was positive about our move, and quickly discovered the many memories that can be made and captured in this wondrous place, and not just with the Disney attractions.

In a month's time we had visited not only Orange County, but Seminole, Volusia, and Lake Counties.  There have been without a doubt wonderful surprises at every turn.  For example, sand turns into oobleck on Daytona Beach, stunning sunsets set off the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, there's crocodile without teeth at the Sanford Zoo, a merman (not a mermaid) but a merman at the Wekiva Springs, and Lake Mary has cherry red sunrises.

Our purpose here is not only to celebrate and enjoy the wonder of the Disney attractions but to expose all of the wonderful places that families can make lasting memories in Florida, especially the outlying counties of the Orlando metro.

Our family members belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Our goal is to help others make happy memories.  Since we are a complilations of our memories, let's make happy ones!

We hope you find this site to be enjoyable and informative!  Thanks for visiting!
